Terms of Use
A concise guide to using the Fading Maize site, archive, music, photos, and related materials.
Using The Site
Fading Maize exists to preserve a 2001 college band archive and share the 2026 Reimagined Editions with care. You are welcome to browse, link to pages, and share the project in ordinary personal and editorial ways.
Please do not scrape, mirror, sell, or republish the site in bulk, and do not use the archive in a way that suggests endorsement by Fading Maize or the people connected to it.
Creative Materials
Songs, lyrics, recordings, photos, artwork, videos, writing, logos, and archive materials remain with their respective rights holders. Some materials are historical artifacts from the original band era, and some are new materials created for the revival.
Small excerpts may be appropriate for commentary, press, or sharing, but full reuse, commercial use, sampling, synchronization, training-data use, or redistribution needs written permission first.
Archive Accuracy
The 2001 archive is presented with its original personality intact. That means some pages may preserve old formatting, old jokes, and early-web rough edges as part of the historical record.
We will correct meaningful mistakes when we find them, especially around credits, rights, dates, and who participated in which version of the project.
Changes
These terms may evolve as releases, merch, direct sales, or fan features come online. The goal is to keep the rules understandable and proportionate to a small independent music project.
